About me...

“So many of our dreams at first seem impossible, then they seem improbable, and then when we summon the will, they soon become inevitable.”Words said by Christopher Reeve, the famous Superman. It might seem easy to say these words for a famous person like him, but who would imagine that those words would apply to me. I was born in San Pedro Sula, Honduras in September 09, 1992. I’ve been through a lot in 16 years of my life. My parents got divorced when I was 8 years old, it didn't affected me that much because my dad never were there for me. My two older brothers got drinking problems and having a single mom made it more difficult, sometimes she couldn’t be there for me because she was working or getting out of trouble one of my brothers, but despite that, we are really close to each other and thanks to her, I learn to always look out for myself and be an independent and strong girl. She’s been always supported me and gave the strength that I need everyday.

When I was about 10 years old I had my first surgery, I was pretty sick at that time, but it made appreciate and love my life, family and surroundings and myself even more. In 2005, I moved here; at first I didn’t care about leaving my country, friends and other family members, I just wanted to start a new life with my mom here, but after two months living here I realize that I lost almost everything in my life; to decide between my friends and my mom was the hardest choice I ever done in my life; now that I’m here with my mom, I realize it was the best option ever.
However, living here was hard, I didn’t knew English, I didn’t have friends and everything was so different. But then, I met who is now my best friend, I didn’t like her at first but she proved me wrong, now we are more like sisters, I’ve never felt that I need to have many friends because she was always there for me. She’s been always supporting me, when I’m sad, happy, hyper, acting silly and even when I got my second surgery in 2006 from the same disease.
This surgery was sign for me because I wasn’t appreciating my life and my body at that time, it make me realize that I needed to take care about myself more and take second chances.Since all these experiences I’ve growing up to be a strong and positive individual
I been loving life every single day, I take every chance that I had in front of my hands, I push myself to better everyday and I never give up. I’ve remember telling everyone in my country that I was going to study in some other country, and people laughed at me; now I’m here, I learned English in less than three years it might not be perfect English, but language was not a barrier for me, I been doing good in school in these years and now I’m preparing myself for college that I also want to study in other country. And finally I want and I'm sure that I would become successful in life.Suddenly, all my dreams are coming true. And I keep dreaming……
