One Child Policy

The one child policy is a population plan to control the birth rates and population growth of China.
This policy was introduced in 1979 and consist in only have one child per married couple to prevent overpopulation and the problems that come along with it, like economic and social problems and to create a more develop China.

The one child policy have created many controversies especially in the moral, health and civil concerns among the people of China and around the world.
This policy has been taken to the extreme that abortions and infaticides have been enforced which creates manys problem within the health care of women and children to satisfy and follow the rules of the government, which had been critized of creating genocides.
There is also a great preference for boys over girls, suffering discrimination from the families and because of this many girls have died or abandoned and the most common putted to adoption. It creates an inbalance because the Chinese population in a few year might struggle because they wont have enough women to procreate, so the nation would ended up stuck from develping into a world power.

On the other hand, this policy have shown positive results in controling the overpopulation of China and also developing a better economy, reducing unemployment and the rates of exploitation, at the same time it is shown that health care have improved.
However, it is not neccesary to implement such extreme plans to control masses from this problem. Some of this solutions can be to educate the Chinese peoples to be more considerate with the birth rates and also considerate more the idea of adoption and finally change some extreme cultural traditions, accept and include women to contribute to the improvement of a better China.
